MAIN TASK

INTRODUCTION: In this post, I will be including written evidence of an intentions I had but unfortunately could not execute, due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

COVER #1 (Sexual Harassment) + (Contents Page)

COVER #2 (Coronavirus) + (Contents Page)

EVALUATION: Here, The Spectator has a large influnce, evident through the format used in both of my media products seen above. This institution does not corform to the conventional application of coverlines and alike The Spectator, I desired to 'replicate' and embrace a 'minimalistic' appearance, registering a more formal mode of adress which is often recognised in broadsheets, known for their 'hard news'. By doing so, the reader's attention is solely focused on the leading article, without any visual disruption caused by near-by cover lines or plugs.

LIMITATIONS AS A CAUSE OF COVID-19: Due to the current Coronavirus restrictions, I was unable to access my desired location required for my COVID-19 magazine front cover. Consequently I was unable to capture primary photography and in responce I utilised the secondary image above from Google, which best showcases what I envisioned. Alongside this, I had to make use of the secondary black-and-white portrait image of the young child for the correspondent contents page seen above.
(CONVERGENCE)- To provide my targeted audience with further accessibility, I wanted to embed/ include the various logos for the social media platforms on both of my publications; this would direct my audience between 16-25 years of age, to become more active via these platforms and join conversations with similar minded people through the cultivation of public opinion.
