Intertextuality Research
INTRODUCTION:
In this intertextuality research task, I will be looking at a range of media products, ensuring that they follow the same type of product that I have chosen for my NEA (Current Affairs Magazine), to help me identify how and why it's used, as well as, what affect it has on an audience. I will also be highlighting how these references are effective and how I could use similar techniques within my product to make it successful.

CONCLUSION:
From my research, I have learnt that when using the correct and engaging intertextual links, the recognition of your magazine will increase, which will result to a significant rise in readership. In order to do so, I believe that this technique must be influenced by your targeted audience, so that this approach is successful. Both demographics and political affiliations, play a large roll in deciding what content to publish, because an audience seeks information that confirms their bias. Therefore, if done correctly, readers should feel heard and understood by the institution, due to a common agreement in view points and manarisms. Overall, from gathering a collective of useful research, I have decided that if possible, i will use intertextual links that are directed specificly to my readership demographics, in order to draw their attention, alongside this, i may encorporate a political view point, however this may prove some difficulty, because it could have a negative impact on my reputation as well as my readership, because if not done correctly and effectively, it will not comfirm my audience's bias.

- via images (photos, illustrations, type of art used)
- via text (what is written, how it's written [type of font] and colours used - or a combination of all)
- via dialogue or sound/music (what people say, music used, type of intonation used).
